What Happens to Your Resume
- Your file is processed in your browser to extract the text content
- The text only is sent to the server — the original file is not stored
- The extracted text gives the AI interviewer context about your experience
- This helps the interviewer ask more relevant follow-up questions
Is It Required?
No — resume upload is optional. However, providing your resume helps the AI tailor the interview to your experience, which typically results in a more natural and relevant conversation.
Tips
- Make sure your resume is up to date
- A text-heavy format works better than a heavily designed PDF (the text extraction handles most layouts, but simpler is better)
- Maximum file size: standard browser limits apply
