Voice Interview
During the Interview
What to expect while the interview is in progress.
Answering Questions
- The AI asks one question at a time
- Take your time — there's no countdown per question
- Speak clearly and use specific examples
- The AI may ask follow-up questions to clarify or dig deeper
What to Avoid
The interview monitors for certain behaviors as part of integrity verification:
- Switching tabs — stay on the interview tab throughout
- Minimizing the window — keep the interview window in focus
- Looking away for extended periods — occasional glances are fine, but prolonged gaze away is flagged
- Copying and pasting text — clipboard usage is detected
These flags are noted but don't automatically disqualify you. They're reviewed alongside your interview performance by the employer.
Connection Issues
If your internet connection drops:
- The system will attempt to reconnect automatically
- You'll see a "Reconnecting..." indicator
- If reconnection fails, refresh the page — the interview may be able to resume
Requesting an Accommodation or Adjustment
If you need a reasonable accommodation (or, in the UK, a reasonable adjustment) because of a disability, you can ask for one without leaving the interview:
- On the setup screen (before the interview starts), there's a "Request an accommodation" / "Request an adjustment" link near the "Continue" button.
- During the interview, a small help icon in the top bar opens the same form.
Describe what you need in your own words and submit it. The request goes straight to the hiring team, and your interview keeps going as normal.
Ending Early
Click the "End Interview" button if you need to stop. This submits everything up to that point for scoring. You cannot restart once ended.
